Our recent stay at Hotel Playa Cotobro
    Sandra - 27 Sep 2016

The hotel was right on the seafront, with a beautiful view of the headland and two beaches. We had a fantastic view from our balcony.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, from reception to restaurant, bar to bedroom cleaners.

The hotel advertised WiFi, but you really needed to be in reception or the lounge, otherwise it was either extremely slow or non existent.

Decor was looking tired, after a busy season and some areas needed re-painting.

The food:- breakfast was the best meal of the day, but it was the same every day.

We did not have lunch, so no comment

dinner was poor., except for the salad. The dessert was either tinned fruit and jelly, small ice cream tubs with cake or creme caramel.. The main

courses were overcooked, dry and unappetising. On one occasion, the nicest choice were tiny squares of pizza!

It is definitely NOT a 4- star hotel.

    Impresiones del hotel Playa Cotobro
    Maria - 25 Oct 2010

This hotel is situated in a fantastic area. It\'s new, very clean and the staff was polite and

    friendly (october 2010).

It is not a four stars class hotel. The dining hall is small, and the buffet is medium. The salads are more or less out of cans...There are not many different main dishes and mostly there is just one sweet. The fruit in Andalucia was very bad, just apples, bananas and oranges, nothing local. The two services are very difficult for strangers who are not used to eat at 14.30 or 21.30. The swimming pool is useless for too small.

The worst thing is that THERE IS NO MANAGER in the house who welcomes you, asks you how you feel, if you need something etc.

For the very cheap low season price we would go back to the Playa Cotobro anytime and

    recommend it to anyone.
