Book your cheap hotel in Puerto Morelos

Sitting on the Mayan Riviera on the Yucatan Peninsula, Puerto Morelos may be a growing, modern tourist resort but it retains some of its original fishing village character. It is a place where you can still experience the authentic Yucatan as well as enjoying a great sun, sea, and sand holiday on the Caribbean Sea. If you’re looking for tropical bliss without the hustle and bustle of the huge resorts of Cancun and Playa del Carmen (which are both close enough for day trips), Puerto Morelos is the place for you.

Unlike the aforementioned mega-resorts, Puerto Morelos remains a low-rise town and officialdom has pledged it remains that way. That doesn’t mean, however, that there are not plenty of options for holiday accommodation. Hotels range from cheap and cheerful to super-luxury adult-only resorts with those most sought after being located right on the beaches.
