Edinburgh Airport (EDI): Approximate driving time to NumberTen Hotel is 20 minutes and distance is 6 miles (9.5 kilometres).

Getting there: Airlink 100 offers express bus services running approximately every 10 minutes between the bus station (adjacent to the airport terminal) and the centre of Edinburgh. An open-return ticket costs £5. The N22 night bus runs from midnight to 4 AM. Taxis are available from a taxi rank adjacent to the airport terminal and typically cost £16 to the hotel. Edinburgh's main railway station, Waverley, is half a mile from the hotel. All prices subject to change.

Driving directions: From Edinburgh Airport, follow the signs towards the city centre. Upon arriving on Princes Street, as soon as you see the castle on the right, turn left on Charlotte Square. At the end of the street, turn right onto Queen Street then take the first left and then the next first left onto Heriot Row. Turn right into India Street at the end of which is Gloucester Place, where the hotel is situated.

Getting around: Edinburgh has a good local bus network running throughout the city and the Lothian region. City bus tours have hop-on, hop-off stops all over Edinburgh. Black cabs can be hailed in the street. The cobbled streets of the historic centre are best explored on foot. The city centre has various complicated one-way systems, and driving is not recommended for visitors. From Waverley train station there are regular trains to Glasgow and most major cities in Scotland and England
