I would suggest that the reception staff would benefit from a course in customer care/ relations a smile costs nothing !!
The hotel I could not fault, full marks to the cleaning staff excellent cleanliness both bathroom and bedroom together with all linen.
Very comfortable room and very quiet I found everything functioned well both room and bathroom and finally I must add that it was a pleasant surprise to find that there was an extra loo roll if required and the quality was quite exceptional. I would definitely stay again.

After an initial unfortunate start where I was checked in to a room that was clearly not ready and then another, my third room was okay. Very warm weather meant window open as no air conditioning so noise was a problem being next to the motorway and woken each morning by noisy groundwork’s right under our room. Our room was clean and ideal for this level of accommodation. Shower good. Breakfast was continental and perfectly adequate and kept very clean which was nice. Everything on the doorstep being located in motorway services. Would recommend highly especially if priced as competitively as when I stayed.

Very pleasant . Quiet. Fabulous shower and wet room. Clean. Don’t need more for a one night stay . Would recommend.

Having stayed a few times here over the years I have to say things are looking a little tired now. The fact that the TV in the room didn't work properly, with its mess of wires behind, seemed to confirm this. (There was no sound and reception could not fix it.)

The bed was OK, but inferior to those in Premier Inn and Travelodge. The best thing about the room was the shower. Breakfast was uninspiring but adequate.

Without a discount I would not recommend staying there.
